1. How do I place an order? You may mail your photos to us. Please put "do not bend" on the envelope and don't forget to include your order form (right click on the order form to save it from the website). We do not charge for scanning. You may also email the images or mail us your saved images on a CD.
2. What format should digital files be in? They must be at least 300 dpi resolution, a minimum of 1200 X 1400 pixels and saved as TIF or JPEG files. If you are emailing the images, please email them as JPEG attachments to: images@ckcompcards.com. Include all order form info in the email, but omit credit card information (a representative will call you for payment). If we receive images less than the minimum requirements, they will appear blurry and pixelated. We cannot use low resolution website images.
3. How should I pay for my order? We only accept company checks, money orders, or credit card. Personal checks are not accepted. A $15 non-refundable deposit is required before receiving your proof. We must receive full payment before an order is shipped, but you may choose to send payment after your proof is received and approved.
4. What is a proof? A proof is an example of what your cards will look like. We do not print an order until approval of the proof is made. LOOK OVER YOUR PROOF CAREFULLY. This is when changes in color or typographical errors can be made before we print your order. Approval of the proof is final. Reprints after a customer has approved the proof will be charged to the customer at regular price.
5. Will I receive my original photos back? Yes, we send your photos back with your order and all packages are insured.
6. What type of paper do you use? The paper used for comp cards is 120# cover stock and the paper used for headshots is 12pt. semi-gloss.
7. There is no price difference for B&W and color images for comp cards.
